1. Respect for Intellectual Property
CampusMaterials respects the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers, and institutions. We require all users to do the same. Uploading content you do not own or have permission to share is a violation of these policies and may constitute infringement under applicable copyright law.
2. What You May Upload
- Your own original lecture notes, summaries, and study guides.
- Past exam papers distributed by your institution for student use.
- Materials explicitly released under Creative Commons or open licences.
- Works in the public domain.
3. What You May Not Upload
- Entire commercial textbooks or substantial portions thereof.
- Journal articles from paid databases (e.g., Elsevier, Springer) without authorisation.
- Content clearly marked "© All Rights Reserved" that you did not create.
- Solutions manuals, instructor resources, or test banks.
4. DMCA / Takedown Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work has been posted on CampusMaterials without authorisation, please submit a takedown notice to:
- A description of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The URL of the allegedly infringing material on our platform.
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
- A statement that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
We will respond to valid notices within 5 business days.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address. We will review counter-notices and may restore content if appropriate.
6. Repeat Infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
