What is CampusMaterials?
CampusMaterials is Africa's collaborative academic resource platform. It allows university students to share and discover past exam papers, lecture notes, textbooks, assignments, and more.
Is CampusMaterials free?
Yes! CampusMaterials is completely free to use. Creating an account, browsing, and downloading resources costs nothing.
Do I need an account to browse?
You can browse and search resources without an account. However, you need a free account to download, vote, comment, or upload resources.
Which countries are supported?
We support students from 35+ African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Cameroon, Morocco, and many more.
📤 Uploading Resources
What file types can I upload?
We accept PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx), Excel (.xls/.xlsx), plain text, ZIP archives, and image files (PNG, JPG).
Is there a file size limit?
The default limit is 50 MB. Admins may set different limits per resource type (e.g., textbooks may allow larger files than assignments).
Why was my upload rejected?
Uploads may be rejected if: the file type is not allowed, the file exceeds the size limit for its resource type, or the content violates our policies. You will see a specific error message explaining the reason.
Can I delete a resource I uploaded?
Yes. Visit the resource detail page and use the delete option, or contact support if you need assistance.
📥 Downloading Resources
Why can't I download without logging in?
Downloads require a free account to prevent abuse and ensure the community remains active and fair. Registration takes less than a minute.
The file download shows an error — what should I do?
If a file returns a 'not found' error, the file may have been removed. Please use the Report button to notify us and we'll investigate promptly.
Can I use downloaded materials commercially?
No. Resources on CampusMaterials are shared for personal academic study only. Commercial use is not permitted.
👤 Account & Profile
How do I change my password?
Go to Account → Profile → Password tab and follow the instructions there.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the login page, click 'Forgot password?' and enter your email. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Profile → My Data tab and use the 'Delete my account' option at the bottom. This action is permanent.
My account was suspended — what do I do?
Contact us at support@campusmaterials.com with your username and we will investigate and respond within 2 business days.
